Keke Palmer turned up the glamour in Los Angeles yesterday when she arrived for an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.”

While discussing her Emmy-nominated role in “Turnt Up With the Taylors” with guest host Sean Hayes,  Palmer wore a golden Georges Chakra ensemble that was extra dramatic. Her look featured a gold crop top and midi skirt covered in gold sequins. The top was also festooned in dark gold feathers, while a matching accent flowed from her skirt’s hem. The “Nope” star and her stylist Seth Chernoff let the dress make the greatest statement, pairing it with small silver hoop earrings and a delicate chain bracelet.

When it came to shoes, the “Scream Queens” star wore a pair of equally sparkly sandals by Sarah Flint. Her now-sold out Perfect sandals featured supportive toe and ankle straps, as well as 4-inch heels. Their gunmetal lamé added even more glitz to Palmer’s ensemble, while coordinating in a dazzling effect from their glittering texture. Similar colors of the style retail for $385 on Sarah Flint’s website.

Matching sets have become one of the year’s greatest styling hacks, due to their effortless nature. The maneuver involves pairing pieces in the same colors, prints, or textures to create a streamlined look. Many pieces, like Palmer’s couture crop top and skirt, are made to be worn together to make a greater statement. Whether it’s dressy or casual, stars like Olivia Culpo, Nicky Hilton and Lori Harvey have all been spotted in coordinating tops and bottoms from brands like Burberry, Prabal Gurung and Cupshe in recent weeks.

For footwear, Palmer often gravitates towards pointed-toe pumps and sleek sandals by Jimmy Choo, Christian Louboutin, Dior and Giuseppe Zanotti, among numerous top brands. The actress chooses more casual styles for her off-duty looks, regularly wearing sneakers by Vans and Nike. However, she’s also a supporter of independent designers like Isa Tapia and Jerome C. Rousseau, and can even be seen in affordable brands like Chiara Ferragni and ShoeDazzle.
