I'm done with MLB, NFL and all the 'woke' professional teams. couldn't care less BUT, Bill Freehan was my #1 idol when I was a kid. with Kaline, Cash, McCaulif, Horton and so many of the greatest ball players in history back then, the only one I watched with super-focus was Bill. He was a catcher's catcher. for me, this is sad news. but I can guarantee you that God has him in the starting line-up for today's game up there. we will always remember you Mr Freehan

I remember watching him play when I was a kid. One of the best I’ve ever seen at covering home plate. Great memories. RIP Mr Freehan.
