Pat Monahan from Train joined Karson & Kennedy for the latest edition of Karson & Kennedy Talk With Famous People!

Pat opened up about celebrating the 20th anniversary of the iconic Drops of Jupiter album, and how they are paying tribute to it on this tour.

He said while the band is currently working on their new album, they won't be playing any of that new stuff at their shows "because that's not what people want to hear." He gets it.

Pat also made it a point to say he always knew he wouldn't be in one of the biggest bands, per say, but he's in the band that has outlasted the rest of them.

When asked about songwriting, he shared his inspiration behind the song 'Meet Virginia,' and how Johnny Mercer's style encourages him to be bold with his word choice.

Pat dropped a huge bomb on Karson & Kennedy when he shared this secret project he is currently working on - seriously, Kennedy's jaw dropped.

The Arbella Fan Question asked Pat how he keeps his music fresh after all this years, and he said that listening to the young, new artists is his trick.
