A Michigan woman is being accused of intentionally crashing head-on with her ex-boyfriend.

According to MLive, police say 36-year-old Brenda Naomi Booth purposefully caused a head-on collision with her ex-boyfriend after they got into an argument over the weekend.

The victim is a Wexford Township man. According to a Michigan State Police news release, the man told authorities that he and Booth got into an argument at his home. As a result, Booth left his home in her own car and later on, he left his home in his car.

He says that he saw Booth traveling down the road in the opposite direction and claims that Booth swerved in front of his car as they got closer in proximity, causing the head-on crash. It was also stated that after the collision, Booth began assaulting him.

The man did not plan to report the incident, but after calling a family member about the crash, his family member called the police and requested a welfare check on him.

Booth was arrested Sunday (August 15) and is facing one count of assault with a dangerous weapon and one count of domestic violence. She since then has been released and her next court appearance is set for August 31.
