Love Island OG Olivia Attwood has responded to claims that Faye Winter is trying to be like her in the villa.

In a new episode of the official podcast, Kem Cetinay from Love Island 2017 was discussing this year's talent show, which went down last night [17 August.] He read out a tweet which questioned whether Faye was trying to be like Olivia by choosing to do a 'roast', much like Olivia did four years ago.

But in her response, Olivia insisted that while there might be similarities between the two, she doesn't think Faye is trying to emulate her on purpose. "I have actually been trying to be very diplomatic for this series," Olivia said.

"She's not trying to copy me, she just has a few similarities, if any."

Olivia then admitted a roast was quite a 'niche' choice, adding that Faye perhaps did herself a disservice by choosing something that could come across as quite harsh. "Just because of all the things [Faye's] been accused of I think it's unfortunate that was the talent she chose," Olivia continued.

"For her own benefit, it doesn't help her develop her own character with the viewers. They're always mugging her off a little bit, I feel like there's other things she could have done."

We appreciate the honesty as always, Olivia.
