BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) —

U.S. Senator Mike Crapo is blasting President Joe Biden on his handling of Afghanistan after the Taliban has taken over the country.

“The haphazard withdrawal from Afghanistan is a failure of presidential leadership and was based on an arbitrary timeline, not on-the-ground intelligence," Crapo said. "It will lead to heightened dangers around the world, continued torment and mistreatment of women and the massacre of our allies."
