Diaz (0-2) allowed one unearned run on one hit while striking out two over an inning of work, taking the loss in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to the Dodgers.
Diaz was brought on to start the top of the 10th inning, and after striking out Chris Taylor, he gave up a double to Cody Bellinger that scored ghost runner Corey Seager. Although Diaz was able to limit the damage to one, that was enough to saddle him with the loss, as the Mets failed to score in the bottom half.
