Almora was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse on Saturday, Justin Toscano of The Bergen Record reports.
Almora has shown very little in limited action this season, hitting .128/.163/.191 across 49 plate appearances. He's now hit just .219/.259/.346 over the last three years and looks like little more than organizational depth.
