City of Yuma resumes normal business hours after week-long closure

City's main office to be closed every other Friday

YUMA, Ariz. (KYMA, KECY) - The City of Yuma announced on Sunday that it will resume normal business hours on Monday, August 9, after closing for a week due to an unexpected plumbing issue which caused flooding.

Crews worked through the week to repair damaged equipment, and took measures to prevent it from happening again.

The city adds that the main office building will be closed every other Friday.
