UTAH (KTNV) — Utah Highway Patrol shared a wild video on Tuesday from a crash on Interstate 15 between Las Vegas and northern Utah at mile marker 71.
UHP says the semi-truck went off the roadway and crashed below.
They say the driver was wearing his seatbelt which is what likely saved his life.
He was able to get out of the truck before it caught on fire.
UHP says the driver was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
This morning a semi ran off the road going over the barrier on I-15 NB at milepost 71, the driver was luckily wearing his seat belt!
