Meghan Markle ‘bored out of her mind by royals Balmoral trip & focused on Hollywood’ life as she turns 40, says expert

MEGHAN Markle would be “bored out of her mind” by royals’ summer holiday to Balmoral this year, says a royal expert.

Phil Dampier claimed that the Duchess of Sussex is focused on a “full-on Hollywood” life as she reaches her milestone 40th birthday tomorrow.

Phil told Fabulous: “Harry and Meghan certainly won’t miss going to Balmoral as a guest of the Queen.

“They would have been bored out of their minds and found it stifling.”

It has been reported that Meghan is hiring Oprah Winfrey's party planner for her 40th birthday bash which will host 65 and not break Covid rules.

The Duchess of Sussex has reportedly tasked Colin Cowie with planning the milestone birthday at her and Harry's £11million mansion in Santa Barbara, California.

He's organised bashes for big-name celebrities like Jennifer Aniston, Tom Cruise and Kim Kardashian.

Phil added: “I’m sure it will be an opportunity for them to entertain and impress wealthy movers and shakers in their neighbourhood like Oprah Winfrey who they haven’t been able to mingle with during the pandemic.

“They have very much gone full on California and won’t worry about how it looks back in the UK or to the royals.

“Their life is now very much in the States and they have settled into the LA lifestyle so hiring a Kim Kardashian style party planner is right out of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

“She is very much free to do what she wants and I’m sure they will.”

Harry has reportedly ordered a cake from local baker Posies & Sugar and the party is supposedly going to be low-key, according to the Mirror.

Guests on the day will enjoy "grazing tables" with locally sourced foods and wines.

A source said: "Meghan wants a small gathering. About 65 people are invited, her closest friends and family. Colin was recommended to her by Oprah who always puts on fabulous parties."

Meghan turns 40 on Wednesday.

The birthday do won't break Covid rules because California has relaxed many of its restrictions.

Every year, the Queen and her extended royal family head to Scotland to enjoy the holidays.

Last month, the monarch, 95, made her first trip away from Windsor since Prince Philip’s death.

Her Majesty has spent a 12-week break at her special Highlands retreat Balmoral every summer of her 69-year reign.

It is claimed that Meghan first visited the pad in 2017, but her first official visit came after her 2018 royal wedding.

The Queen is expected to stay at the 50,000 acre property until early October.

Although she will be without her beloved husband, she will be joined by other members of the Royal Family, including her grandchildren, reports the Mail Online.
