American Pickers officially removes Frank Fritz from website after former host was FIRED from show
AMERICAN Pickers officially removed Frank Fritz from the show website.
Frank's co-star Mike Wolfe confirmed his termination after their nasty feud.
Frank no longer appears on the American Pickers' website bios page, as now only Mike and costar Danielle Colby are featured.
Recently, Danielle slammed Frank for "causing pain" and begged the "unwell" star to "get help" after his firing
It kicked off after Danielle posted a pic of her and Mike on Instagram captioned: "I’m truly saddened for the loss of Frank on the show. I’m incredibly sad for his struggles.
"I have personally watched everything over the last decade. I have many thoughts but won’t speak them as they are only my thoughts, not gospel."
She continued: "I wish things could have been different but we must be accountable for our actions when we cause instability or pain and suffering to others.
"Frank caused so much pain for himself that it has been hard to watch. I truly hope Frank receives all the help he needs to become well after years of being unwell.
"It is not my place to speak Ill of someone who needs help so I will keep my comments uplifting. I’m sending love to everyone..."
FRANK'S STRUGGLES
Frank, 55, previously stepped away from the show to recover from back surgery with his last episode airing in March 2020.
The Sun previously reported the reality star lost 65 pounds after living a healthier lifestyle and remaining sober from alcohol.
Last month, Mike shared with fans that Frank would not be returning to American Pickers, explaining: "... I will miss Frank, just like all of you, and I pray for the very best and all good things for him on the next part of his journey.”
Frank joined the popular History Channel program cast in 2010, but his absence for the last year and a half has seemingly gone unnoticed.
FRANK VS. MIKE
Despite their decade-long co-hosting relationship, Frank previously told The Sun that he hasn't spoken to Mike in two years.
Frank said: "[Mike] knew my back was messed up, but he didn’t call me up and ask how I was doing. That’s just how it is.”
While the exact cause of the tension wasn't made clear, Frank did say: "The show is tilted towards him 1,000 percent. I can’t even bend that far down to show you how much.
"That’s fine. It’s like you’ve got Aerosmith and there’s Steven Tyler and he’s the frontman. I found my spot, I’m second and he’s number one on the show. That’s no problem with me, maybe he does have a problem.”
He added: "I’m not arrogant and I’m more of a regular ol’ guy. The guy that connects with me is the guy who buys a 30 pack of Busch Light and a pizza on the weekend. That’s my guy. My guy buys a $150 sign, not an $8,000 sign..."
RATINGS UPTICK
Even amid Frank's firing, the program's ratings hit 1.3 million per episode.
The Sun exclusively revealed ratings on the March 2, 2020 episode, which was Frank's final show, had 1,282,000 viewers tune in.
However, the July 19, 2021 episode without Frank reached 1,322,000 viewers, while the July 5 episode had 1,336,000 viewers.
The rise in ratings comes as Frank exclusively told The Sun he would like to return to American Pickers, which he has appeared on since 2010.
He said: “I’d still like to get back to my job, I miss my friends and my people and being on the road and meeting all those different characters.”
