‘Unprecedented labor shortages’ force Clay County recycling suspension

Green Cove Springs, FL — Recycling collection services will be suspended for residential customers in unincorporated areas of Clay County and Keystone Heights starting Monday, Aug. 16.

The county said in a social media post that “unprecedented labor shortages” were to blame.

Instead, the county’s limited resources will be dedicated to collecting garbage and yard waste.
