(CNN) — Vismaya Nair had been married for just over one year when she was found dead in the bathroom of her husband's family's home in India's southwestern Kerala state. Initially, police had no reason to view the 24-year-old student's death on June 21 as suspicious, until her family made a complaint under the country's "dowry death" law.

One small step in the right direction to change this around is when a HUGE number of these gorgeous Indian women start marrying other races instead of Indian men. There are lots of men from different cultures that adore the beauty, elegance and feminity of Indian women and the men groom gives to the woman’s family for giving him a woman that’s going to take care of him, bear his children etc etc. Indian women, develop a dating app for international men and see this archaic change. In about a decade or so when thousands to millions of Indian women refuse to marry locally and Indian men realise they are loosing their women to foreigners that treat them better, then this DOWRY GREED will come to a halt IMO.

There are many odd things about India that are not spoken about, this being one of them. The other is the persecution of Christians. You wouldn't think this is so in this day and age, but it is true.
