PASCO COUNTY, FL. – A 30-year-old Zephyrhills man was killed overnight when he was struck by an SUV, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers say an SUV was traveling northbound on US-301, south of Kossik Road, as the Zephyrhills man was walking westbound across the northbound lanes of the highway.
Investigators say the man entered the path of the SUV and was struck by the vehicle.
The man was transported to an area hospital but died from injuries sustained in the crash.
