A pedestrian was hit by a vehicle and died after crossing Gall Boulevard late Friday night, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The driver, a 67-year-old male from Tampa, was traveling northbound on US-301, south of Kossik Road, when he struck a 30-year-old male from Zephyrhills crossing the highway, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

The victim was taken to a nearby hospital where he died of injuries from the crash.
