Titans change course, will have practice open to fans

When the Tennessee Titans released their entire 2021 training camp schedule, they also announced that the team wouldn’t have any practices open to fans because of construction at Saint Thomas Sports Park and a packed schedule at Nissan Stadium.

However, the team announced on Friday that it has changed course and instead will indeed hold an open practice.

Per Jim Wyatt of Titans Online, Tennessee will allow fans to attend its night practice at Nissan Stadium on Monday, Aug. 16, which will run from 5-7 p.m. CT.

The event will be free, but fans must reserve tickets in order to attend. You can do that right here.

“With construction at Saint Thomas Sports Park and a jam-packed events calendar at Nissan Stadium leading up to our first home preseason game, we were hard-pressed to find a date that could work to bring fans out for an open practice,” Titans Sr. Vice President, Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer Gil Beverly said. “Thankfully, we were able to collaborate with some of our visiting events and come up with a window where we could give fans the opportunity they deserve.”

The open practice will also feature “interactive games and giveaways, entertainment and interviews with players and coaches.”

Gates will open at 4 p.m. and concessions will be available. Parking and other entry details are expected to be released at a later date.
