Anna Paquin joins actress Teagan Croft on the set of Jessica Watson Netflix biopic True Spirit as filming gets underway on the Gold Coast
Anna Paquin is the latest celebrity to arrive in Australia, where she's filming the movie True Spirit.
The actress is playing Julie, the mother of sailor Jessica Watson, who attempted a solo circumnavigation of the globe at the age of 16 in 2009.
The 39-year-old had her game face on as she got to work on the set at Chevron Island, Queensland.

The True Blood star was dressed down in a striped white t-shirt as she shot scenes for the Netflix biopic on Thursday.

She added a pair of burnt orange trousers to the ensemble, as well as casual white shoes.
The actress stopped for a snack between takes, and was spotted munching on a morsel of food.
She also appeared to be doing some last minute script checks, carrying a sheet of paper in her hand.
Young Australian actress Teagan Croft, 17, who is playing Jessica Watson herself, was also seen on the set walking down a pier.
Teagan rocked a pink bandana, a white sleeveless top that was covered up by charcoal overalls and a pair of mustard high top Converse shoes.
Besides Anna and Tegan, Australian actor Josh Lawson joins the cast as Jessica's father Roger.
New Zealand actor Cliff Curtis also comes on board to star as Jessica's coach, Ben Bryant.
The cast were fittingly filming scenes for the biopic aboard a yacht docked in a waterway.
The film is based on Watson's memoir True Spirit, which details 210-day solo sailing trip around the world in 2010.
'It's quite humbling to have Netflix bring my story to life,' the sailor said in a statement.
'I hope that the film inspires people around the world to try sailing and to also pursue their own adventures.'
Anna most recently appeared in the hit fighting film Mortal Kombat, which was shot in South Australia last year.
The Piano actress was last seen in the British comedy-drama series Flack.
She is the latest Hollywood thespian to travel to Australian shores among the likes of Natalie Portman, Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Matt Damon, Christian Bale, Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Bobby Cannavale and many more.
