Details on the homicide Boyce is wanted for were not immediately made available.

“The trail of Mr. Boyce led from Richmond to Atlanta GA, then to Myrtle Beach where he was arrested without incident,” Richmond Police Chief Michael Britt said.

“I would like to thank the assisting Law Enforcement Agencies, our Enforcement partners and the many local officers for their dedication and perseverance in seeing this case, as well as several other cases through to logical conclusion,” Britt said.

Richmond police are not working on the extradition process to get Boyce back to Wayne County.
