Disney and Universal update their face mask policies

Orlando, Fla. — Following the local state of emergency declaration from Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings, which urges everyone vaccinated or not to wear a face covering indoors, Disney and Universal have updated their park face mask policies.

Starting today, Disney says that all guests 2 and up, regardless of vaccine status must wear one while indoors and on Disney buses, monorails and the Disney Skyliner. You can find more detailed information here.

Meanwhile Universal Orlando is still making masks optional for guests, although they are encourage everyone to follow the updated CDC guidelines. However, starting on Saturday, all employees have to wear one while indoors. You can find more detailed information here.
