(CNN) — Sen. James Lankford stood on the Senate floor in the afternoon of January 6, explaining why he opposed certifying Joe Biden's presidential victory. He said that there was a "constitutional crisis in our country" not because many Republicans rejected the election's verdict, but because "millions of Americans are being told to sit down and shut up."

one of the most important things that people should see here that Donald Trump is no good and he belongs in prison I know this because I studied this man before you became president him and his father should have both been in prison decades ago

Now that kind of statement was directed at the wrong President. There was a constitutional crisis. And 81+ Plus million rejected it. And yes someone should have been told to sit down and shut up!

As more comes to light in the January 6th hearings and trials the Republican Party will continue to tear itself apart.
