BOCA RATON, FL (BocaNewsNow.com) (Copyright © 2021 MetroDesk Media, LLC) — Readers are not holding back when sharing what they think should happen to eligible Floridians who choose to go unvaccinated for COVID-19. Those responding to our question overwhelmingly support listing their names, firing them from the jobs, ridiculing them publicly — even listing their cause of death online or on grave markers in red.
Not every response was that extreme and we are not publishing some of the more radical positions, but here is a look at responses we received when we asked what to do about eligible Florida residents who refuse to get the COVID-19 vaccine as infections and deaths are again surging:
“Let the non vaccinated get sick and die. They have a death wish for themselves and everyone else. Since they refuse, they can quarantine and refuse medical Treatments. They push the medical community to exhaustion. Why would someone not choose life over death.? They are irresponsible, dull, and selfish. I don’t get stupidity.”
“They should all be fired from their jobs! They mine as well stay home so they cannot spread Covid. No they should not be eligible for unemployment. If you want to smoke a cigarette and get cancer or if you want to eat McDonald’s every day and get fat and die of a heart attack that’s one thing that’s on you but now it’s not a time to be selfish by you not getting the vaccine it is affecting every other American and preventing us as a country from getting past this pandemic. right now China is laughing at us and saying those stupid Americans and now they know how to wipe out our economy. I just got vaccinated and now I have to continue wearing my mask so thanks a lot guys you really did a number on us as a country!”

“I 1000000% deplore Gov. DeSantis’ stand on just about everything to do with the pandemic issue. He protects those who won’t protect others and calls it a matter of privacy. ie He puts privacy above health for all of us, never mind that we all have to be vaccinated against polio, and other long-gone diseases. I could not care less if anyone wants to know about my health; I just want to be healthy. He is a petty dictator who shows no respect for the health of the general public. Deplorable.”
“As a fully vaccinated 67-year-old Floridian, I am angry that we are going backward. I have done everything that was asked since day 1, and yet here we are.”

“Please try to understand that some of us have preexisting conditions/illnesses that prevent us from getting the vaccines. I am one of them and am very distressed that I cannot get the vaccine. I wear a mask and don’t go anywhere except for a doctor appointment and I even have someone do my food shopping for me. But I am distressed that a lot/most people are not wearing masks.”
“Except as it relares to children under 12, why bother with masks? Just let the unvaccinated catch COVID and face the consequences, and if that means some of them die, so be it. Let the process of natural selection/social Darwinism/survival of the fittest, however you want to refer to it, do its work. It’s not a bad thing”
“The U.S.needs to require vaccines to attend events like they are in France.
The U.S. said vaccinated people could remove their masks but unvaccinated did so too. The vaccinated as suffering because of the unvaccinated. I hope to see more corporations, businesses, store owners, restaurants, employers, and anyone else in power mandating mask to work at their establishments, attend their events , etc. We will never get out of this as long as people refuse to get vaccinated. My son is an ER doctor and I don’t like these people working him to death & whining and complaining once they get covid. Maybe they should create fines for those unvaccinated who show up in the ER.”
