TULSA, Okla. — The Tulsa Police Department released details Thursday after arresting a man connected with the kidnapping of a 7-year-old girl.

Tulsa police say video surveillance from several businesses and residents on June 2 showed a man abducting a 7-year-old girl and taking her away in a white Dodge 2500 Ram pickup near 1831 North College in north Tulsa.

Officers were told the man passed the area at least seven times, following the girl's aunt, Tracy McDonald, and 9-year-old sister before seeing the 7-year-old girl walk outside.

Police say he grabbed her and took her back into his truck.

"She walked out the door and he grabbed her left hand and put her into his pickup," McDonald said. "Just picked her up and put her into his pickup.”

The family chased the truck down the street until he let the girl out and drove away.

Police say officers canvassed the area to collect enough evidence to identify Christopher Donald Webb as the man they were looking for.

Officers served a warrant Wednesday night to arrest Webb and collect a handful of electronics they'll check for any other potential crimes.

Webb is facing charges for kidnapping and possession of multiple firearms. He is set to appear in court on Tuesday, August 3.
