Here’s How to Get Free Disney+ for Up to 1 Year

We found a few promotions to save you money for the holidays.

From new releases the moment they hit theaters to nostalgic films, beloved TV shows, and original series, plus Marvel and Star Wars movies at your fingertips, Disney+ is well worth the $7.99 monthly fee. But that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the service without saving money.

Because streaming subscriptions can get costly, we dug around to find some of the budget-friendly deals that will get you free Disney+ for up to 12 months. Although Disney+ offered free trials when it first launched last year, the streaming giant has yet to announce similar promos but it did drop the price all the way down to $2 a month during Disney+ Day, and there’s the Disney+ bundle which adds Hulu, and ESPN+ to your subscription for just $13.99 (not a bad deal, by the way, especially if you have kids). Want to save even more? Amazon Music is currently running a promotion for new customers that comes with six months of Disney+ at no additional charge. The limited offer only applies to Amazon Music Unlimited, which costs $9.99 a month ($7.99 for Amazon Prime members) for access to more than 75 million songs.

Amazon Music lets you enjoy ad-free music to stream or download and listen offline with unlimited skips, thousands of stations to choose from, along with top playlists and your favorite podcasts. Current and former subscribers also have the option to receive a free subscription to Disney+ for three months. The Disney+ deal is connected to the Amazon Music membership so if you cancel the music subscription, your Disney+ membership will automatically end. You won’t be tied to a contract though, which means that you can end either subscription whenever you like, so long as they are canceled separately.

Another option: Verizon. Get up to a year of free Disney+ when you sign up for Verizon 5G Home or Verizon Fios and LTE Home internet plans. Verizon also offers six months of free Disney+ when new customers sign up for select Unlimited plans starting at $35 a month. Current Verizon wireless customers who switch to select Unlimited plans can get up to six months free as well. If you already have Disney+, you can still get the six-month free trial when you join Verizon. Your paid subscription will be paused until the free trial ends. Once it’s over, you’ll be billed $7.99 per month.

With more than 100 million users and counting, Disney+ has proven to be a platform that the whole family can enjoy. The massive streaming library includes Disney channel classics, and Disney+ originals such as Marvel spinoff series “Hawkeye,” “Loki,” “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” and “WandaVision.” Other original shows include “The Mandalorian,” “High School Musical: The Musical Series,” “Clone Wars,” “The Mighty Ducks Game Changers,” and the National Geographic documentary “The Right Stuff.”

Disney+ recently unveiled a slew of exclusive content which includes the newly-released “The Beatles Get Back” documentary, holiday movies such as “Home Sweet Home Alone,” and upcoming exclusives like “Becoming Cousteau,” “Foodtastic,” “The Book of Boba Fett,” and “The Proud Family.”
