Che Adams scored twice after goals by Theo Walcott and Moussa Djenepo as Southampton cruised to a 4-0 over Cardiff City in a pre-season friendly.
Fans were allowed back inside the stadium for the first time since February 2020 but the home side failed to rise to the occasion on Tuesday night.
Saints went ahead lead seven minutes before the interval when Michael Obafemi picked out Walcott and he steered the ball home with a first-time finish.

Winger Djenepo added the second goal just four minutes after coming on as a second-half substitute.
He jinked inside and before curling his effort into the top corner in the 66th minute.
Saints added a third when Nathan Tella slipped a pass in behind for Adams, who lifted the ball over the advancing goalkeeper.
Adams then struck again to complete the rout six minutes from time.
The forward rounded goalkeeper Dillon Phillips after a quick breakaway.
