'It's been a bloody sad time': Shane Warne shares his heartache after the deaths of THREE of his close friends - John Cornell, music promoter Michael Gudinski and cricketer Dean Jones
An emotional Shane Warne has reflected on the deaths of three of his close friends.
During an appearance on Studio 10 on Tuesday, the 51-year-old admitted that he'd been going through a tough time due to the tragedies.
He started by opening up about the recent loss of John Cornell, who died last week following a 20-year battle with Parkinson's disease.

'He was one of the all time great people, it's been a bloody sad time recently,' he said.
'I lost another close friend in Michael Gudinski, not that long ago, Dean Jones, and now John Cornell.

'Yeah, it's been a pretty tough time actually and it's very sad to lose John,' he added.
Shane then said that his thoughts were with John's family, including his wife Delvene Delaney.
Cornell died at his home in Byron Bay last week with Delvene by his side.
The industry icon had been battling Parkinson's disease for 20-years before passing away at age 80.
'A classic Australian character, John Cornell made the lives he touched much richer, not only through donations, but also through his generosity of spirit, humour, humility and honour,' his family said in a statement.
'A true egalitarian, John sought equity and equality, and fought for a fair go.'
Earlier this year, music promoter Michael Gudinski's death shook the nation when it was announced in March.
Mushroom Group said in a statement: 'It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Gudinski AM overnight.
'The much-loved Australian music legend died peacefully in his sleep at his home in Melbourne, Australia.'
'He left behind wife Sue, children Matt and Kate, and two grandchildren.'
And last year, cricket legend and Shane's personal friend Dean Jones died.
Dean, who was 59 at the time, died of a 'massive' heart attack in a Mumbai hotel in September.
