Twitter reacts to the Bears signing TE Jesse James

The Chicago Bears are signing former Pittsburgh Steelers and Detroit Lions tight end Jesse James to a one-year deal, which seemingly fills the roster spot due to be vacated with the Anthony Miller trade.

The James signing provides depth at the tight end position behind Cole Kmet and Jimmy Graham. James will be competing for a reserve roster spot with the likes of J.P. Holtz and Jake Butt.

As you can imagine, there was plenty of reaction to the James signing, including plenty of jokes regarding Chicago collecting tight ends on their roster. For the record, the Bears now have seven tight ends on the roster heading into training camp.
