A man walking his dog in Queens was pummeled by a rowdy crowd after he asked them to stop setting off fireworks, police said Sunday.
The 44-year-old victim approached the group, who were yelling, screaming and lighting pyrotechnics near 75th St. and Juniper Blvd. North in Middle Village, and asked them to keep the noise down about 9:55 p.m. Friday, cops said.
The crowd turned on the victim, with several men kicking and punching him until he was able to flee. The victim suffered cuts and bruises but declined medical attention, officials said.
There have been no arrests.
Cops released grainy photos of three of the suspects Sunday and asked the public’s help identifying them and tracking them down.
One suspect is described as thin with long dark hair and wearing a black T-shirt, shorts and sneakers.
The second has a medium build and short straight hair and was wearing a black T-shirt, light-colored shorts and white sneakers.
The third suspect is thin with short straight hair and was wearing a gray T-shirt, Nike shorts and white sneakers.
