Moeen Ali hit a well-made 40 as Birmingham Phoenix beat London Spirit by four wickets to record a first win in The Hundred.

England batsman Zak Crawley struck a well-constructed 64 and despite modest returns from international team-mates Eoin Morgan and Dan Lawrence, the visitors posted 144 for six at Edgbaston.

Liam Livingstone threatened to continue his fine form for England in the Phoenix's reply before he departed, and after Ali's fine 40, Chris Benjamin saw the hosts home to victory.
