IT JUST DID SO MUCH HAVOC ON HIS IS BRIAN AND HIS SPINAL COLUMN STANDS CONDITION WORSENED QUICKLY. HE LOST MOBILITY AND WAS UNABLE TO BREATHE. HE WAS RESUSCITATED FIVE TIMES IN A SINGLE NIGHT. THE DOCTOR CAME OUT AFTER HIS FOURTH COAT AND SAID WE SEE HE’S A DNR. WHAT DO YOU WANT US TO DO AND YOU KNOW, I KIND OF LOOKED I SAID, HE’S MY HUSBAND JUST TRY ONE MORE TIME STAN MADE IT BUT HE’S BEEN IN AND OUT OF REHAB FACILITIES EVER. UNABLE TO SEE HIS WIFE AND FAMILY THROUGHOUT THE PANDEMIC THEIR RETIREMENT NEARLY WIPED OUT BY MEDICAL BILLS BECAUSE I WAS STARTING TO FEEL LOST IF IT WASN’T FOR CHRIST. I WOULD REALLY HAD A HARD TIME NOW WITH THE VIRUS FINALLY DORMANT IN HIS BODY. HE’S BACK WITH HIS FAMILY AND HE’S ASKING EVERYONE TO BE GRATEFUL FOR THE TIME THEY HAVE WITH LOVED ONES. Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services identified the state's first case of West Nile virus in a human Friday. DHHS said the person who tested positive was not hospitalized. The case was identified in the Elkhorn-Logan Valley Health Department area which covers Burt, Cuming, Madison, and Stanton counties. Common symptoms are often flu-like and include: HeadacheBody aches VomitingFatigue Weakness DHHS says West Nile is the most prevalent mosquito-borne disease in the U.S. and Nebraska has one of the highest rates of the disease. Fifteen people had the virus last year. 10 of them were hospitalized and one person died. Just yesterday, DHHS said it discovered two mosquito pools that tested positive in Scottsbluff County.
