How PSG could line up next season with Man Utd’s Pogba linking up with ex-Liverpool rival Wijnaldum if he makes transfer

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE hopefuls Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Paul Pogba, according to reports.

The addition of the World Cup winner would make the French side an even stronger force in Europe as they look to win an allusive UCL crown.

Pogba has just a year left on his Manchester United contract and reports suggest he doesn't want to stay at Old Trafford.

PSG are believed to be considering a £40million bid for the 28-year-old, although the Red Devils reportedly want £50m.

Should Pogba complete a move to the French capital, he could play alongside Georginio Wijnaldum, 30, after his move from Liverpool.

The France international could also play in a more advanced role, with Italian midfielder Marco Verratti, 28, joining Wijnaldum in the middle.

COMPLETING THE XI

PSG have also signed Sergio Ramos, 35, on a free transfer - and the Spanish defender is likely to play with club captain Marquinhos at the back.

Marquinhos, 27, can also play in midfield to give Pogba more freedom, and Presnel Kimpembe, 25, could slot in alongside Real Madrid legend Ramos.

Stopper Gianluigi Donnarumma, 23, is likely to start behind the defence, although PSG have plenty of choice with NINE goalkeepers on their books.

The Italy international, who's recently joined from AC Milan, will face tough competition from last season's first-choice goalkeeper Keylor Navas, 34.

Layvin Kurzawa, 28, is likely to play at left-back, while new signing Achraf Hakimi, 22, is expected to be a permanent fixture down the opposite side.

At the top end of the pitch, striker Mauro Icardi, 28, could lead the line with Neymar, 29, featuring in the No10 role.

Mbappe, 22, could then slot in down the left, although he could also play as a No9 and Neymar could fill his position, allowing Pogba to play at No10.

Ex-Manchester United star Angel Di Maria, 33, is likely to play down the right - but he's comfortable occupying either wing.

And there are other players that could come into the team, including Rafinha, 28, Idrissa Gueye, 31, Julian Draxler, 27, and Ander Herrera, 31.
