Katy Perry dons floral-themed bucket hat and pink jumpsuit as she joins Nicole Richie and Zooey Deschanel at kids charity event in LA
She became a mother last August when she welcomed daughter Daisy with partner Orlando Bloom.
The trio headlined the Baby2Baby Back2School giveaway event which donated backpacks filled with supplies to youngsters from low-income families.
Perry, 36, is back home in Southern California after spending time with Bloom in Prague where he's filming a new season of Amazon Prime's Carnival Row.
The pop star kept cool on the hot LA day in a short-sleeve pink jumpsuit with buttons down the front.
She added a pair of white sneakers and, in a nod to her daughter, she donned a bucket hat decorated with large daisies.
Perry completed her look with a colorful necklace.
Baby2Baby was founded in Los Angeles by three moms in 2006 as a way of giving back to their community.
In 2011, it was re-launched with a board and ambassadors comprised of celebrities and in 2014 it became a registered non-profit organization.
Richie, 39, who has two children with musician husband Joel Madden, is one of the celebrity moms who serves on the board of directors.
For Wednesday's event, Richie paired a red stripy cropped top with dark blue jeans and comfy flats.
Her long hair was loose and she wore a pair of reflective sunglasses.
Deschanel, 41, has also been involved with the charity for some time.
The actress, who has two kids with her second ex-husband Jacob Pechenik, opted for a floral print blouse with short sleeves and ribbons.
She wore it tucked into blue jeans and added a pair of wedge shoes.
The three stars made sure to wear face masks as they interacted with the youngsters as the Delta variant of COVID-19 is causing a surge in coronavirus cases in Los Angeles County.
