Kelly Osbourne devastated after dog Polly dies saying ‘I’ve never felt pain like this’
KELLY Osbourne has been left heartbroken following the death of her beloved emotional support dog Polly.
The 36-year-old returned to social media today to tell fans the sad news, just weeks after she was rushed to the vet with serious health concerns.
In a devastating post, she revealed the teacup pomeranian had a pulmonary heart defect and admitted she was struggling to come to terms with the loss.
She wrote; “I promised myself that I would take a break from social media for the summer... however I thought I should let you all know that this week I lost my Polly 😭 to pulmonary heart defect!
“She has been by my side for 6 years. I do not no how to go on without her. To say I’m devastated is an understatement.
“I have never felt pain like this. I have lost my shadow. I don’t think I will ever get over this. My heart is broken. I am broken!!! I am not in a place to even talk about it.”
She added: “To all my close friends... if I don’t respond please understand that I just need time.”
Polly was an emotional support dog who helped the daughter of Sharon and Ozzy through some very tough times.
Speaking about her previously, Kelly admitted: “I don’t know how to live without her now. I have a fear of flying. I’ve been on a few emergency-landing planes that were terrifying.
“I also have social anxieties and if I can put my attention onto her, it really minimizes it and makes it easier. The most stressful situations can be going on and you just look at her and she just makes everything better.”
