On Friday, July 23 there will be an acrobatic aircraft flying just before the Venetian Festival Depot Beach Fireworks.
For safety reasons and FAA regulations, the Charlevoix County Sheriff’s Office is advising citizens that there can be no occupied vessels or people in the water within the flying zone during that time.
The say the flying zone is slightly larger than their usual fireworks safety zone.
The Charlevoix County Marine Patrol, Charlevoix Coast Guard station and the Coast Guard Auxiliary will be working to keep people out of the restricted area.
They also will be directing vessels in and out of Round Lake.
