Ten biggest transfers that could happen this summer like Haaland to Chelsea, Kane to Man City and Ronaldo to PSG

TRANSFER season is in full swing with some of Europe's biggest clubs looking to strengthen their squads ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.

And that could see some of football's most valuable superstars on the move - including Harry Kane, Erling Haaland and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Here SunSport has explored 10 mammoth transfers that could still go through this summer.

ERLING HAALAND

Chelsea are said to be preparing am eye-watering £135million bid for the Norwegian.

The Blues have tried in vain to persuade Borussia Dortmund to accept a players-plus-cash deal for the £150m-rated hotshot.

And Manchester City are also said to be monitoring the 21-year-old's situation if they fail to land their No 1 target Kane.

HARRY KANE

England hero Kane, 27, wants out of trophy-shy Tottenham.

City launched a £100m bid for the goal-machine in June but it was rejected.

They were said to be open to including Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus at the time.

But the Etihad outfit are now reportedly willing to offer FOUR players in total - with Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva being added to the list.

Chelsea are also said to be preparing to sell German forward Timo Werner in order to raise funds for Haaland or Kane.

And Manchester United were heavily linked with a £90m bid as Ole Gunnar Solskajer is a huge fan.

Despite signing Jadon Sancho and agreeing a contract extension with Edinson Cavani, Kane is still one of FOUR blockbuster signings the Red Devils are targeting this summer.

KYLIAN MBAPPE

Real Madrid's interest in the Paris Saint-Germain sensation has been well known for some time.

Los Blancos are said to have started 'Operation Exit' in a bid to offload SEVEN players in order to raise the cash to sign the Frenchman.

And Mbappe, 22, reportedly wants to insert a BANNED clause into his contract to allow for a move to the Bernabeu.

If he does move, Madrid seems the most likely destination but Liverpool are also believed to have 'enquired about his availability'.

DECLAN RICE

Three Lions hero Rice, 22, was integral in Gareth Southgate's side's historic run to the Euro 2020 final.

He has rejected two substantial West Ham contract offers this summer with SunSport exclusively revealing the Hammers would use freed up wages from Felipe Anderson's Lazio exit to try and agree a new deal.

Chelsea are keen on their former youth academy player.

But the Blues have been told to fork out £100m by the East Londoners who are in a strong position given the three years left on Rice's London Stadium deal.

BEN WHITE

Arsenal have committed to paying Brighton's £50m asking fee for the England centre-back.

That is after they previously had bids of £40m and £42m rejected.

White is currently on holiday in Mykonos but will have a medical with the Gunners when he returns.

It will make the 23-year-old one of the most expensive English defenders of all time.

LEON GORETZKA

Man Utd are lining up German star Goretzka amid mounting fears they will be forced to sell Paul Pogba.

The Red Devils are preparing for the prospect of £89m record signing Pogba quitting United for a SECOND time.

His Old Trafford contract expires in summer 2022 and he has given no indication as yet that he is willing to commit to a new one.

And Goretzka, 26, is currently at a similar stand-off over his future with Bayern Munich.

The former Schalke ace could be available on a free transfer in a year’s time or – if there is no resolution – may have to be sold for a knockdown fee this summer.

United are also said to have offered him a staggering £200k-a-week if he decides to join as a free agent next year.

RAPHAEL VARANE

French World Cup winner Varane seems set to leave Real Madrid this summer and has given Man Utd the green light to start talks as long as Los Blancos agree first.

SunSport exclusively revealed United are planning a double swoop on LaLiga and have closed in on a £68m splash on Varane and England star Kieran Trippier.

Solskjaer laughed when asked about his Varane intentions last week.

And Chelsea are also said to have entered the race for £50m rated ace and could hijack United's plot.

CRISTIANO RONALDO

Juventus and PSG are said to be considering a sensational swap deal involving global superstar Ronnie and Mauro Icardi.

The French giants have invested heavily in their squad this summer as they continue to chase the elusive Champions League crown.

And Juve are considering offering Portuguese legend Ronaldo, 36, to the French club to try and bring Icardi to Turin, according to L'Equipe.

Speculation has been rife over Ronaldo's future, with the club's change of manager only fuelling the rumours.

The icon only has a year left on his contract in Italy and faces an uncertain future with PSG keen to secure his services.

ROBERT LEWANDOWSKI

Chelsea are set to swoop in with a £50m bid to bring the Polish ace to Stamford Bridge.

With Werner having fluffed his lines in front of goal on several occasions last season, the West Londoners are looking for a new striker.

However, the 32-year-old is said to be dreaming of a move to Real Madrid with Bayern 'searching for his replacement'.

RAHEEM STERLING

Arsenal are leading the race to sign the England superstar from Man City.

The former Liverpool winger has slipped down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola thanks to the emergence of Phil Foden.

But if the Gunners are unsuccessful, Sterling, 26, could end up at their bitter rivals Tottenham with City keen to use him as a makeweight to land Kane.
