Scooter Braun files for divorce from wife Yael after seven years of marriage following RHOBH’s Erika Jayne affair rumors
SCOOTER Braun has filed for divorce from his wife Yael after about seven years of marriage following rumors the music guru had an "affair" with The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne.
Scott “Scooter” Braun, 40, and Yael Cohen, 34, officially called it, according to TMZ.
In the paperwork for the divorce filing, Scooter has asked for joint custody of their three kids: Jagger Joseph, Levi Magnus, and Hart Violet.
The renowned music executive has agreed to pay his former partner for spousal support.
The two will be dividing their assets based on their prenup.
Sources have told TMZ that their split appeared to be amicable.
The former couple tied the knot back in 2014.
The music mogul had recently praised his wife and shared a photo of the two on their wedding day.
'GIVEN ME EVERYTHING'
He wrote: "If just for the kids you have given me everything.
"But thanks to you I have grown, I have been pushed to be the best version of myself and to continue growing and learning. That all happened because you came in to my life. 7 years.
"The adventure is just beginning. Thank you Yae. I love you. Happy anniversary."
Scooter had reportedly separated from Yael back in early July.
There were claims that he was having "an affair with RHOBH star Erika Jayne."
The former couple were allegedly taking a break from their seven-year marriage.
'NEED SOME TIME APART'
A source told PEOPLE: "Their friendship is the best it's ever been but they're taking some time apart to sort things out and focus on the kids."
A second insider claimed: "So many couples went through this during the pandemic.
"They love each other and just need some time apart and will hopefully bounce back for their kids."
On a recent episode of the Bravo show, Erika dismissed the rumored reports that she "was seeing my old Dancing With the Stars partner [Gleb Savchenko], and then I was seeing Scooter Braun."
Speaking about the claims, the reality star clapped back: "I haven't seen either one of them in four-and-a-half, five years."
Erika was previously married to Thomas Girardi, 82, from 2000 to 2020.
Back in November, the TV star filed for divorce from Tom Girardi after spending 21 years together.

Following the divorce filing, Erika was hit with lawsuits for fraud, embezzlement, and a contract breach.
Although Erika reportedly became involved when they upheld their luxurious lifestyle with the money he had allegedly stolen from his clients - however, she has denied ever knowing what her ex was up to.
