JESSA Duggar's parents, Jim Bob and Michelle, met her newborn daughter Fern just two days after the reality star had given birth.

Jessa, 28, shared adorable snapshots of Fern meeting her grandparents for the first time on Instagram. 

Jim Bob, 56, and Michelle, 54, each took a snap with Jessa's newborn, who happened to be their "10th granddaughter."

Both grandparents had smiles on their faces while the infant yawned and slept in their arms. 

The caption to the photos stated: "Our hearts are full! We are so thankful for this precious new little life." 

Jessa responded in the comments section with a happy face emoji with two heart-shaped eyes. 

Michelle was on hand during the labor and thanked the nurses when they offered for her to cut the umbilical cord.

Fern's grandmother said: "I would love to."

'THE TENTH GRANDDAUGHTER'

Recently, in a lengthy YouTube video, the Counting On alum shared the experience of how she officially welcomed her fourth child.

Jessa and her husband, Ben Seewald, share sons Spurgeon, five, and Henry, four, and 1-year-old daughter, Ivy.

On Tuesday, July 13th, the ex reality star was experiencing "a lot of contractions" and had gone to visit her doctor.

Then on Saturday, July 18th, Jessa had "been having contractions every 10 minutes for the past few hours." 

She said: "I'd say they're about a seven or an eight. It feels like the real deal to me." 

Finally, on July 19th, Jessa and Ben ended up walking into the medical facility on her scheduled due date.

'THE REAL DEAL'

Jessa wore a loose black dress while Ben carried several bags with him as he walked by her side.

The couple teased that Fern's birth was just one part of the video series and promised to share more footage "soon."

Back in February, Jessa and Ben revealed that they were expecting while remembering their "heartbreaking" miscarriage back in 2020.

The TLC stars told ET in a statement: ”After the heartbreaking loss of a baby last year, we’re overjoyed to share that another little Seewald is on the way!"

"The pregnancy is going smoothly, and both baby and Jessa are doing well. We are so grateful to God for the precious gift of a new life!

“The kids are delighted, and we can hardly wait to welcome this little one into our arms this summer."

Jessa and Ben tied the knot back in 2014 after meeting at a church as teenagers.
