Awkward! Jennifer Lopez shut down nosy pal Hoda Kotb when the Today host asked about her rekindled romance with beau Ben Affleck.
“I need to have a little girl talk with my girl, just a little. You look happy,” the 56-year-old host told Lopez on Tuesday. The superstar was there to promote the re-release of the charity single “Love Make the World” with collaborator Lin-Manuel Miranda — an uplifting track first released in 2016 to honor the victims of the horrific mass shooting at Pulse nightclub in Orlando.
Kotb emphasized that the 51-year-old looks “happier” now since reconnecting with Affleck, saying: “Every time I see a picture of you and Ben, I’m like ‘She looks happier! She looks happier!,’ before flat out asking her to confirm, "Are you happier?"
The “Let’s Get Loud” songstress expertly dodged the question. "The song is out, five years since we've done it. And I believe that that message of loving one another and coming together and love, is never more relevant than it is right now," Lopez said with a smile, while Miranda is seen in the background excitedly flailing his hands.
"Wait, it's me you're talking to, you know that," Kotb replied. "I know," the Maid in Manhattan star quipped. "You can call me. You have my number!"

Lopez and Affleck were previously engaged for two years in the mid-2000s, and the star-crossed lovers reconnected in April after the 51-year-old singer dumped fiancé Alex Rodriguez.
As OK! previously spilled, the duo are wasting no time and diving head first back into their relationship, with a source recently revealing the pair are ready to take the next step and cohabitate.
“Ben and Jen are spending almost every night together when they’re not working,” an insider dished, adding the duo — who originally called off their 2003 wedding — “plan on moving in together very soon.”
Adding fuel to the fire that the rekindled lovers are planning on moving in together, OK! reported that Lopez is considering relocating from Miami to Los Angeles — where Affleck currently lives — with her kids, Max and his twin sister Emme. The former Fly Girl was even recently spotted school shopping with her son earlier this month in Santa Monica.
Lopez shares her 13-year-old twins with ex-hubby Marc Anthony, whereas Affleck shares daughters Violet, 15, and Seraphina, 12, and son Samuel, 9, with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
