Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's daughter Monroe makes modeling debut with OshKosh B'gosh

Mariah Carey's daughter is hitting a "high note" with her modeling debut. 

Monroe Cannon, who the "We Belong Together" singer shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon, stars in the latest campaign by Carter's-owned fashion brand OshKosh B'gosh.

In the back-to-school commercial, Monroe wears classic denim overalls with a black t-shirt underneath as she writes music, practices her whistle tones in the mirror while holding her ear, dances and poses like a diva to resemble a young version of her pop star mother.

"The melodies that live in my head, someday they'll live at the top of the charts," the 10-year-old says in the commercial. 

The script was "meticulously" written to refer to moments from the singer's memoir "The Meaning of Mariah Carey" and nods to some of Carey's hit singles, according to a release. 

The campaign, titled "Today is Someday," also features child-sized vignettes of other notable artists like Atlanta-raised rap group Outkast and champion boxer Muhammad Ali to encourage young minds to "dream boldly about who they’ll become someday," according to the press release.

“As a little girl, I was determined to realize my dreams," Carey said in the campaign's press release. "Now as a mother, it brings me so much joy to see my children visualize and develop the dreams they hold in their own hearts. We did the campaign because we love the message of empowering kids to dream boldly and blaze their own path.” 

Carey and Cannon welcomed Monroe and her twin brother Moroccan in April 2011 on the day of their wedding anniversary.

To honor their 10th birthday, the "All I Want For Christmas" singer posted a compilation video of the twins, whom she fondly refers to as "Dem Kids," on Instagram to the tune of her hit song "Always Be My Baby." 

"Happy birthday demkids!!! 4.30... The only birthday I acknowledge🥳🥳 I love you!!! Mommy," Carey wrote. 

The OshKosh B'gosh campaign is set to launch Friday with commercials placed on connected TV, digital platforms and social media.
