Britney Spears looks downcast in LA as she's spotted for first time since Instagram rant
Britney Spears has been spotted out and about in LA with her boyfriend Sam Asghari following her social media rant where she hit out at her father and sister.
The 39-year-old Toxic hitmaker looked downcast as she drove her white Mercedes through the streets of LA as her boyfriend Sam accompanied her in the passenger seat, while Britney’s bodyguard also sat in the back of the car.
The singer, who is currently trying to end her conservatorship after 12 long years, was spotted sporting a pair of oversized sunglasses as she sat behind the wheel alongside her beau.
Britney, who has been dating Sam for over three-years now, cast a solemn expression across her face as she concentrated on the road.
It comes just one day after Britney hit out at her father Jamie Spears, and her younger sister Jamie-Lynn, in an outspoken Instagram caption.
Britney insisted that being under the harsh conservatorship since 2008 has ‘killed her dreams’, and insisted that those closest to her betrayed her by failing to support her at her lowest moment.
Sounding angry, Britney posted a long message alongside the image of a quote that reads: “Never forget who ignored you when you needed them and who helped you before you even had to ask.”
Britney stated: “There’s nothing worse than when the people closest to you who never showed up for you post things in regard to your situation whatever it may be and speak righteously for support … there’s nothing worse than that!
“How dare the people you love the most say anything at all … did they even put a hand out to even lift me up at the TIME!!!???
“How dare you make it public that NOW you CARE … did you put your hand out when I was drowning? Again … NO.”
She continued: “So, if you’re reading this and you know who you are … and you actually have the nerve to say anything about my situation just to save face for yourself publicly!!!
“Please stop with the righteous approach when you’re so far from righteous it’s not even funny.”
Britney also took aim at her younger sister Jamie-Lynn in another Instagram rant when she said that she was hurt that her sibling performed her songs while she was going through one of the darkest times of her life.
The pop star insisted that she spent years begging for her manager to allow her to perform new music at her shows.
Sadly, Britney was never granted her wish, and what made things worse was the fact her little sister then performed her songs.
Britney furiously penned: “I had been begging to put my new music in my show for MY fans ... so I quit!!!!
“I don't like that my sister showed up at an awards show and performed MY SONGS to remixes !!!!! My so-called support system hurt me deeply!!!!
“This conservatorship killed my dreams ... so all I have is hope and hope is the only thing in this world that is very hard to kill ... yet people still try.”
It comes after Britney’s sister Jamie Lynn posted a cryptic message to her Instagram Stories on Saturday.
The Zoey 101 star wrote: “Dear Lord, can we end this bulls**t once and for all? Amen.”
Jamie-Lynn's mysterious post comes after her big sister finally won the right to appoint her own lawyer in a bid to end her 12-year conservatorship.
