Sharon Stone steals the show in a stunning lilac gown as she lounges on the steps outside amfAR Gala during Cannes Film Festival 2021

She was named Commander of the Order of Arts and Letters earlier in the day during the Cannes Film Festival 2021.

And Sharon Stone stole the show once again later in the evening, as she posed in her sensational lilac ensemble at the prestigous amFAR Gala on Friday night.

The Basic Instinct actress, 63, was a vision in the flowing gown as she lounged on the steps in the feathered ensemble, which featured strap detailing across her chest.

Sharon added glitz to her showstopping look with a pair of dramatic drop earrings and a pair of glitzy silver heels.

She wore her chic cropped locks in a choppy style and enhanced her natural beauty with a subtle coat of dewy make-up.

During the evening, Sharon appeared to be in great spirits as she put on an animated display chatting with Orlando Bloom at their table and proudly posed with her son Roan, 21. 

The amfAR gala is one of the world's most successful benefit events and the most coveted ticket in town during the Cannes Film Festival, boasting an exclusive dinner, auction, multiple performances and a fashion show.

During the night, Sharon rocked three outfits - a lilac ballgown, white shirt and semi-sheer midi skirt and a slinky black dress.

In snaps taken inside the event, the beauty is seen making the most of the evening and catching up with other A-Listers who have flown out to Cannes for the infamous event in the social calendar. 

Joining her for the festivities was her son Roan, who she shares with ex-husband and American journalist Phil Bronstein, 70. The couple ended their relationship in 2003.

For her first look of the night, Sharon donned a divine dress which boasted a fitted bodice and sparkling crossover straps at the front, while the length of its skirt incorporated feathers.

The Hollywood icon accessorised her gown with a pair of statement floral drop-earrings, while paring back her hair and make-up.
