Woman reveals she has NO toenails in TikTok video
A WOMAN has revealed that she has no toenails in a TikTok video that has since gone viral.
The rare condition is known as anonychia congenita and those who have it don't usually suffer from any other health issues.
One TikToker, Annabelle Anderson has posted several videos relating to the condition.
Her top video has received over two million likes as many followers loved her honesty and humour around the topic.
Posting on TikTok, she said "this is for your Bradley" before lip syncing to a tune about hating people that work at a bank, but instead she changed the words to "I hate people who have no toenails".
She then reveals her feet and urges her followers to "don't tell anyone".
In her other posts she jokes that people without any toenails are both "funnier and cooler" than people who do have them.
She also jokes that she has previously "asked God for normal feet".
Annabelle also talking about the reaction she gets from potential love interests when she reveals she has no toenails.
She says that while it's likely they "might have spoken to prettier girls", that it's "unlikely they have spoken to someone without any toenails.
Annabelle has become so famous for her toe nail content, that her bio now reads: "toe girl".
The TikToker has over 5.8 million likes and over 47,000 followers.
Most of her viral videos focus on her condition - which is so rare that it is not know how many people actually suffer from it.
It affects the fingernails and toenails and most people with anonychia congenita have no nails at all.
Most people have one or the other and it is usually a condition that is visible from birth.
The nail bed is normal and most people have no other health conditions.
It is caused by a rare mutation in the RSPO4 gene and the condition occurs due to the fact that way the cells and tissues are created becomes disrupted.
Parents of children with the condition usually carry one copy of the mutated gene but don't always show signs of the condition.
