Emma Bunton's love story as she marries partner Jade after 20 years together
Emma Bunton took to Instagram this week to announce she had married her long-term beau Jade Jones.
In her sweet post the Spice Girl shared a pic of the pair together on their wedding day and captioned the post: "Mr and Mrs Jones."
The lovestruck couple first started dating in 2008 after Jade, who is known for being the lead vocalist of 90s boy band Damage, attended the Spice Girls show.
Just a year later the pair, who very rarely discuss their family life publicly, broke up before Emma dated former Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand between 1999 and 2000.
In November 2000 the pair got back together before separating again in 2004.
By 2006 they had announced they were getting engaged and Emma was expecting her first child, Beau just a year later.
Discussing the prospect of the pair getting married, the singer told The Sun 's Fabulous magazine in 2017: "It would be nice, wouldn’t it? I should get round to it. He already calls me his wife and I call him my husband.
"We’re both Aquarians and a little disorganised, so we never get round to organise anything!"
Beau was born in London’s Portland hospital in November 2007.
After the birth, Jade gushed: “Baby’s had a baby now. It’s pretty good, just amazing. We’re both over the moon and absolutely thrilled to bits to have our little boy with us now.
“He looks a bit like both of us actually, so he’s a very lucky boy. It’s an amazing feeling, which I can’t describe. His name is French for handsome and he is definitely very handsome”.
And in November 2010, Emma and Jade announced they were having a second child.
Emma told on Twitter : “So our family grows, we are SO excited to announce we’re having our 2nd baby and Beau’s wish for a brother or sister has come true."
As Emma approached the end of her second pregnancy, she revealed that Jade had proposed to her after 10 years of dating, after previously telling how the pair didn’t need to get married to formalise their relationship.
Emma proudly showed off her huge diamond ring on Dancing On Ice.
On 5 May 2011 Emma announced she had given birth to another baby boy named Tate.
Jade's band Damage disbanded in 2001 before reuniting in 2014 for ITV2 show The Big Reunion.
The singer swapped the stage for the kitchen in 2008 when he retrained to be a chef and later worked at five-star London hotel Claridge's and The Lord Stanley in the capital's Camden Town district.
Jade revealed he turned to cooking because he ‘fell out of love with music’.
