mr. killer, so sorry to hear about your cancer. I am a survivor if esophageal cancer, and have a trache and a feeding tube. although the cancer is gone for now ,I have been spending the last two years fighting off the aftereffects if the radiation and chemo treatments. I hope your health improves and that you can better grasp the use of your voice aide, I'm not far behind you in that aspect and find it a struggle to be understood quite often, keep on keeping on . once you're down the only way to go is up.

Did I read that right? Did you say Apple Valley Calif? I lived there about 12yrs. My Uncle lived there half his life & apparently was somewhat of a big wig in the 1970's thru the early/mid eighties. I've heard Apple Valley, Victorville, Hesperia, & Lucerne Valley are unrecognizable. I mean depending on your age, & when you lived there. Sorry if this is a bit weird(and it is), but I don't see/hear, or read anything where people mention Apple Valley, Victorville, etc., except for maybe once in a blue moon. Take Care!
