Universal Hub is reporting that Marcus Partners hopes to replace a seafood processing plant with two life-science buildings. In a letter of intent to the Boston Planning Development Agency, Marcus stated it would pay $20M to relocated the four seafood companies that make up the New Boston Seafood Center at 310 Northern Ave.
Marcus has also filed plans to create another eight-story life science building at the old Au Bon Pain building.

City Councilor Ed Flynn recently called for a hearing in the wake of so many “life science” buildings being proposed in the neighborhood including this large scale project on Morrissey Blvd.
