Dwayne Johnson reportedly thinks Ryan Reynolds is the best actor he's ever worked with after starring in the Netflix action-comedy Red Notice

It's been 20 years since Dwayne Johnson first made his transition to acting after his WWE stardom, with the actor apparently revealing who is the best actor he worked with.

Johnson, 48, stars alongside Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot in the upcoming Netflix action-comedy Red Notice, with We Got This Covered reporting Johnson is a 'huge fan' of Reynolds and he thinks Reynolds is the best actor he's worked with.

Neither Johnson nor Reynolds have publicly spoken about this report, which stemmed from an insider named Daniel Richtman. 

Reynolds also had a memorable cameo in Johnson's 2019 Fast & Furious spin-off Hobbs & Shaw, which was directed by Reynolds' Deadpool 2 director David Leitch.

Reynolds played Locke, a CIA agent sent to recruit Johnson's character Luke Hobbs on this world-saving mission.

Production started on Red Notice in January 2020, but was paused in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Filming resumed in September, with production wrapping in November on the movie, which is said to be Netflix's most expensive film ever.

The budget is reportedly upwards of $200 million, with Johnson, Reynolds and Gadot all reportedly receiving $20 million each to star.

Red Notice is currently in post-production, and it's unclear when the first trailer will debut, though it's believed that Netflix will release this movie in the fourth quarter of 2021, though no specific date was given. 

Red Notice follows an Interpol agent named Rusty (Johnson) who teams up with the world's greatest art thief (Gadot) and the world's greatest con artist (Reynolds) when a daring heist surfaces.

The film was written and directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who previously directed Johnson in Central Intelligence and Skyscraper.

Johnson also stars in the highly-anticipated Disney movie Jungle Cruise alongside Emily Blunt, which hits theaters and Disney Plus with Premier Access on July 30. 

Aside from their acting careers, Johnson and Reynolds are also in the liquor world as well, with Johnson's Termana tequila and Reynolds' Aviation gin.

Reynolds will next be seen in the highly-anticipated Free Guy, arriving in theaters August 13.

He also recently completed filming on The Adam Project, starring alongside Zoe Saldana, Jennifer Garner and Mark Ruffalo.
