If a historic Independence Day celebration is what you seek, then head over to Four Mile Historic Park to experience the spirit of the American west in this annual Independence Day celebration. From 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., those attending will get the chance to take part in crafts and activities, prairie games, live music, food trucks and fireworks at sundown.
Food trucks and vendors that will be present at the celebration include ALLNU2U Denver, Birdies #44, Cravings Truck, Good Food Good Living, Mister Lemonade, Ray Ray’s Gourmet, Renewal by Anderson, Old Tyme Kettle Korn, Original by Greeks LLC and Von Dech Productions.
Tickets range from $6 to $14, with members of Four Mile receiving free admission dependent on their membership level. Members will also be allowed early entry to the Park at 4:30 p.m.
Four Mile Historic Park has partnered with the City of Glendale and the Glendale Chamber of Commerce to provide the Annual Independence Celebration.
Starting at noon this Saturday, the City of Denver will be holding a free block party at one of the city's best locations. The party will feature live music including DJ Al Ur Pal, Dotsero and Hot Lunch Band starting at noon.
Additional activities available at the party include caricature paintings, outdoor patios, world-class restaurants, handcrafted cocktails with zero-proof spirits and independent retailers.
This event is free to the public and does not require any advance registration or tickets for entry.
Despite being roughly a 35-minute drive from the heart of Denver, The Evergreen Music Festival is a great way to spend the holiday! The festival will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Sunday, featuring a full day of music, dancing, food, beverages and games.
Additionally, there will be a handful of classic cars in attendance as the Rotary Club of Evergreen Classic Car show will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the festival. The event planners for the music festival are planning on holding an event of a similar size to the 2019 event of 3,000 people.
Musical acts performing throughout the day include MC Arturo Gomez, DeVotchKa, Jazzical Violin and Ovation West/Altezza, Joe Smith & The Spicy Pickles, FACE, Thomas Cassell Voyager Project and Joe Bye & Friends.
Tickets are currently on sale, ranging from $25 for general admission and classic car displayers, $15 for a veteran or active military, $10 for teenagers and $5 for children. This year, the festival is allowing attendees to bring their own pop-up tents, encouraging them to bring chairs and blankets, reusable water bottles and umbrellas.
Dogs, coolers or outside alcohol are not allowed in the park.
Returning for its 11th year, Denver's largest Independence Day march, the Park Hill Parade, will begin Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in the Park Hill Neighborhood in Northeast Denver. Park Hill is one of the oldest, historic and diverse neighborhoods in Denver.
The parade will consist of marching bands, floats, classic cars, costumed characters and much more. This year, there will be new groups joining some of the returning classics to march down 23rd Avenue from Dexter Sreet to Krameria Sreet.
The parade is free and open to the public. Viewing areas for the parade will be along the entire one-mile route on both the north and south sides of 23rd Ave.
From food trucks and adult beverages to music, yard games, exotic animals, face painters, bounce house and a barrel wagon ride, the Wheatlands 4th of July Celebration will have it all.
There will be a bike parade beginning at 11:30 a.m. at the Wheatlands Bug Park which will end at the Clubhouse. The celebration will be held shortly after from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
While the bike parade and celebration are free, there are only 15 available signup slots left out of 500.
