Metallica, aka The Black Album, was released in 1991 and features such singles as "Enter Sandman," "The Unforgiven" and "Nothing Else Matters."

The reissue will feature a remastered and "definitive" version of the album. It will be available as a 180 gram double vinyl EP, a standard CD and 3xCD expanded edition, a digital download and streaming.

The box set also includes the Live at Wembley EP, two interview CDs, five CDs of demos and rough mixes, six live CDs and more.

The Metallica Blacklist features covers by Weezer, St. Vincent, Corey Taylor, Miley Cyrus featuring Watt, Elton John Chris Stapleton and other artists. Profits from the album will be donated to charities of each artist's choice and Metallica's foundation, All Within My Hands.

Metallica will release the reissue and the covers album Sept. 10.

Metallica was formed in 1981. The band released its 10th studio album, Hardwired... to Self-Destruct, in 2016.
