Actually classifying states is disingenuous. Yes there is a relatively high rate of crime in Seattle, but travel 30 miles outside the city and its a different world. Crime especially violent crime is concentrated in cities m I st of which are controlled by the democrats, here in Washington you have a very liberal city's in the Seattle Tacoma Everett corridor surrounded by relatively conservative areas, you see the same thing across the country, Chicago, New York, Baltimore, Atlanta, New Orleans, Houston, Los Angeles. Here in alaska we're I spend half my time you have actual evenly spread gun violence, as we all carry guns, and like most of the country the gun violence here usually is connected to alcohol abuse or drug abuse. Not saying these city's are wrong they should be allowed the government they choose. But like they say "statistics can say anything you want". But don't lump those of us who choose not to live in these city's often because of the crime in with them.
