Manhattan District Attorney Cyrus Vance Jr. and New York Attorney General Letitia James, both Democrats, are investigating the financial dealings of Trump and his business empire.

Allen Weisselberg, the Trump Organization’s chief financial officer, is also under investigation by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office over whether he failed to pay taxes on fringe benefits, according to the New York Times, which reported on Tuesday the office has obtained his tax returns. The report said this development indicates charges could be announced in the coming months.
